Lemon Pepper Pappardelle with Tomatoes and Basil: Keep it Simple

Translation:  Lemon Pepper Pappardelle with Tomatoes and Basil.

This dish is so utterly simple that you can definitely make it, even on your longest workday of the week when you just want to come home, sit on the couch, and have dinner magically appear.   I promise, you can put together this entire meal in less time than it would take you to open the refrigerator, pantry and freezer and declare “there’s nothing to eat.”

The Lemon Pepper Pappardelle (found at Trader Joe’s), is such a fun and flavorful pasta that the simpler the toppings, the better, and it completely lets of the flavors of the fresh tomatoes and basil shine.  It would also be excellent topped with a sprinkle of parmesan cheese.

Sometimes simple is best, wouldn’t you agree?

Another thing that shines due to its combination of simple ingredients?  Angie’s Kettle Corn.    I was sent a variety of their Kettle Corn to try in the following flavors:  Original, Caramel, White Cheddar, and BoomChickaPop (isn’t that fun to say?!) Sea Salt.

This has instantly become a new favorite household snack!  The Kettle Corn is light, fresh and I absolutely love how kettle corn is slightly sweeter, which pairs perfectly with the salty flavors!  The white cheddar is their newest flavor and I can honestly say, it didn’t even last 24 hours in our house.

I’m so impressed by their short ingredient list and ability to make such a healthy, tasty snack from just a few foods!  Angie’s Kettle Corn is made with all-natural ingredients and does not contain cholesterol, trans fats, corn syrup, artificial flavors or preservatives; it’s also gluten-free and kosher.   The company also supports local farmers, industry, and sustainable agriculture.

Oh, and their philosophy?  Keep it simple.
