    I´m unable to get rid of those extra clothes you mention. Oh God, I keep everything, everything. I must say my closets are perfectly organised with lists everywhere and boxes, but everytime I decided to “clean” up, I always find a sentimental reason to put everything back into it´s place.
    What a pain I am!….

    Every Friday for the past 4 months I volunteer at the local hospital for 4 hours. It is incredibly rewarding. It always surprises me how far a smile will go :-)

    Today I cleaned our apartment and found a whole bunch of canned goods and some clothes that are headed to the donation center on Monday! Feels so good to purge my home and help others at the same time.

    I’m buying and cooking the Easter Ham this year. My Aunt normally does it but I want to help ease the load this year.

    We are doing our annual “Spring Cleaning” and I have my three kiddos go through their toys they don’t play with so we can donate them to local charities and goodwill. It feels good to give.

    I just went in a 1km harbour swim to raise money for Kids with Cancer. Such a good cause. My husband won a trophy for being the individual to personally raise the most money. Great post – we all need to be reminded of what we can do. Happy Easter! xx

    We are doing spring cleaning in these holidays and then will be donating some clothing and house hold items. My daughter is a member of a city youth club, she does all sorts of things.
    We celebrate “Vaisakhi” next week in Vancouver and during the celebrations (procession) the food served at the stalls is free for all. We join hands with some of our friends to put up one stall.
    GIVING is the best feeling.

    My husband and I downsized our home when we moved about 8 months ago (about 25% smaller), and I have been *slowly* but surely, collecting items that we no longer need and donated them!! :)

    I helped out at church today before service and the girl was so happy she didn’t miss any of the service.

    I was with someone who said they needed to start shopping at a second hand store for her daughter’s clothes. She left with a bag full of all the clothes your sister just cleaned out of her closet.

    I just recently finished the process to becoming a big sister for Big Brothers Big Sisters! Now I just have to wait for my clearance to go through and be matched. I can’t wait!
