Among things like “weekend getaways” and “walks in the sunshine,” chocolate and granola definitely make the list of what helps me to enjoy life!
So when I was offered the chance to review Enjoy Life’s new Double Chocolate Crunch Granola and their Semi-Sweet Chocolate Mega Chunks, I definitely said yes!
I, of course, decided to rip open the bag of granola and try that first! This granola is definitely for the chocolate lover and I appreciate that the bag doesn’t say “chocolate” and then mislead you to a few chips sprinkled throughout! I loved the sweetness and crunch this added to my breakfast mixes and think it would be amazing as a topping to frozen yogurt!

Now to change gears, it’s on to my next challenge in the kitchen!…

This time, the question is for selfish reasons as our schedules have changed and there are a few upcoming nights where I’ll be on my own for dinner. It’s amazing to me how ceaselessly motivated I am to cook and plan meals when it’s my husband and I having dinner together (most nights). It doesn’t hurt that I have someone who’s willing to try pretty much anything, will clean even the biggest cooking disasters and always says “thank you” after I’ve made something. With that said, when it comes to meals on my own I always seem to draw a blank and after wandering around the kitchen for a few minutes, I usually end up with a bowl of cereal.
So please help me to continue thinking outside the box by sending me your favorite “meal for one” (I like leftovers, so it’s okay if it makes more than one serving
by May 31! It could be your own recipe, a blog or another recipe source!
