Rejuvenate Foods!

Recently I was sent these products from Rejuvenate Foods.  They offer a wide variety of raw, natural and nutritious foods.  I was sent Kim-Chi, Almond Butter and Raw Sauerkraut to try!…

The first thing I tried was their Almond Butter

When I opened the container I noticed it was a very creamy and smooth texture.  As I read the jar, I learned that they make their almond butter by grinding fresh organic almonds several times, keeping the temperature low enough to retain enzymes.  It is then refrigerated immediately and can be found in the refrigerated section.  I loved seeing how a different means of production with the same one ingredient as other almond butters really can make a difference in the final result!

You can see here the one ingredient: organically grown raw almonds.  Don’t you love it when there’s only one thing listed and you know what it is?! 🙂

    I used to live in Korea so I know alll about kimchi. For something simple but delicious, just mix it with rice and throw in whatever veggies you have on-hand. It's very spicy and an acquired taste, in my opinion, but I grew to like it.

    One-ingredient list is the way to go! Always puts a smile on my face, too 🙂 I love almond butter, too–my favorite way to enjoy it is definitely in almond butter cookies though!

    In Korean meals, you often eat kimchi as a side dish with rice or noodle dishes. But you can also add it to soups or even make a kimchi stew with fish or meat. It's a bit of an acquired taste for some. Can't wait to see what you think! 🙂

    I would say throw some kimchi in cooked rice too, then toss them up.

    I've only ever seen ONE kind of almond butter here in Australia, and it's not that good 🙁 What I wouldn't give for the variety you have!

    Ooo almond butter is one of my most favorite things ever! This looks delicious.

    You could make kim chi pancakes with the kim chi! Kind of like scallion pancakes.

    I love Kim-Chi! I'm weird and it as a side dish just by itself.

    And, I like almond butter on toast for breakfast. It has a much fuller taste than peanut butter, I think!
