Vianne Chocolat: A Piece of Handmade Heaven

by simplylife on October 26, 2010

I’m a sucker for packaging and this adorable little box makes me want whatever is inside of it that much more!  Vianne Chocolat recently sent me several of their handmade artisan chocolates to try and after getting over how fun this box was, I couldn’t wait to open it and see what was inside!…

I was delighted to see a wide variety of their chocolates; you can find the description of each one here, in addition to their other mouth-watering options!  Each one tasted rich, delicious and well, just dreamy!

My favorite was the Almond Butter (bottom left with the beautiful flowers!); not only is it gorgeous to look at but the combination of vanilla bean, chocolate ganache, sweetened almond butter and dark chocolate was pretty much heaven on a plate.  I also love the festive “Nibs-n-Skulls” chocolate as it’s perfect for Halloween and is a sweet and magical blend of milk chocolate, dark chocolate and cocoa nibs.  Oooh and I have to mention  the Burnt Carmel Cups (top left) which is made using dark chocolate to encircle a luscious handmade carmel sauce…are you drooling with me?  Yes, they are that good.

As you can see, it is obvious much care and thought goes into each high quality handmade chocolate and that is definitely evident in its rich and decadent taste.  Plus, they are made using local ingredients!  I could not be more impressed!  I highly recommend these chocolates as a gift, a wonderful dessert and to use for special events!

You can buy Vianne Chocolat Chocolates online or that their many locations around the Boston area.  They’re also happy to put together special requests and customized orders and I hope you’re able to enjoy these as much as I have!
